SAN DIEGO, Oct 16, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Encore Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECPG) announced today that it will host an investor day on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in San Diego, California, following the conclusion of its annual meeting business. Presentations by Encore's management team are scheduled to begin shortly after 8:30 a.m. PT and conclude by approximately noon PT.

Due to space limitations, registration is required to attend the event. Registration requests should be sent by e-mail and will be processed in the order in which they are received.
